    YC.....

I accept your points, and even more so, share your environmental concerns.

I also applaud what you have managed to achieve.

There is certainly truth in what you say, that it is better to teach a man to fish, than to give a man a fish....no argument there whatsoever....but we all have our own way to contribute....and the way that I believe I can best contribute is to enable others more suitably qualified to help make a change....perhaps, for example, like to help pay for a teacher to educate children, so that those children that benefit from that education can then go on to make a difference to their part of the world.....money does not only buy food, but school books, buildings, clothes, machinery, equipment to drill wells and those with the skills to operate them, and so on and so forth.

Money is not the problem, but rather the way that it is being used.

Anyway, enough perhaps of this subject for now....whilst I am quite glad that there has been some discussion and attention drawn to this most important issue, this is after all the uranium thread, and perhaps we best leave it at that.

    Cheers.

P.S. Winnie, your suggestion has not eluded me....the exact thought has crossed my mind on many an occasion....and perhaps it is better to take that path.
For now though, I am undecided.
