t4p,
you could be right about intersecting the minor gas on friday.
cause they were @ 15,756 thursday morning and intersected minor gas from 15822 to 15883.
drilled only 70 feet until they've hit the gas. shouldn't have taken more than one day.
Also since they were @ 15979 when they have released an announcement this morning (160 feet from the top of the gas show), I would assume they have drilled for 2 days until they have decided to pull out and change the drill bit.
thurs/fri - drilled 70 feet and hit the top of the minor gas show.
fri - drilled 60 feet to identify the minor gas zone
sat - drilled 100 feet and decided to change the drill bit.
sun - pulling out and replacing the drill bit
mon - trip it down to 15979 again.
should restart the drilling before tommorrow.
but the question is why they have decided to change the drill bit now than later?
prob. they don't want to interfere the drilling when they have hit the major @ 16000~16400?
