I checked out the Trigence Dnote digital speaker product presentation (notes and voice over - 11min) from 2015, and sure enough it is pretty clever stuff.  But when you compare this to the information on AudioPixels website I do not think it will even come close to the AP system.  This just makes me more confident in AKP.  Doubters should have a look at both.

At the end of the presentation the presenter plays a tablet that uses one of the DSM devices.  This is probably a great reason why AP has not put out a video of their chip playing music on a consumer product!

Then there are the AP tech presentations on YouTube - these are pretty long but useful.
