I am not insisting you do anything - what you do is your business. I am merely making an observation. The observation is that if everyone followed what you call "my prudence-paved path" there would be very few breakthroughs in any arena as there would be no investment in anything other than a sure thing (of which there are none in the equities market).

I had assumed - not unreasonably -that your comments were made in the context of the heading and the preceding discussion of this thread.
As for there being no sure thing investments in equity markets, that's were I disagree quite strongly with you. While they are rare, sure-thing investments do exist.
