I usually don’t post on the threads and I’m sure that I will chastised for my comments, firstly I don’t own any IAM shares nor do expect to buy any IAM shares however I see many post on the DT thread so I decided to conduct some research on IAM. I believe everyone is waiting on a deal with Sentry. Sentry group is the licensee and the majority of the practices are self-employed, so let’s assume the pilot program is successful and it leads to a formal binding agreement. Sentry group cannot force these practices to exclusively use IAM for all there back office services, as self-employed practices they have a choice on how they run their own business. Offshoring isn’t new in my legal practice we started using services in India more than 10 years ago, my accounting practice we use a Vietnam team, my point is now there are many services that provide back office support. Fin planning practices already have these services and I found that you can outsource SOAs for as little as $200 per plan, I also found that you can outsource all your risk business, estate planning and accounting work to reduce your expenses and increase your bottom line.
