As per previous post, sorry mate late when I wrote it may be hard to understand, 555.55 grams per SQM requiring 355.5556 Watts of energy which is spot on, if, their using 400’S over the sea of green but over kill if 600’s and relatively poor result from an energy perspective if this is the case.

In relation to your question below the sea of green technique, from a performance perspective is by far the best for many reasons however in light of global legislation the majority of hobbyists will/have never have the opportunity to have 20 plants per SQM.

Therefore training your plants, relative to the lighting you’re using, to become wider than they are taller is an excellent substitute to maximise yield per area but obviously crop times are extended.

A simple analogy I gave clients is to look at each leaf like a battery storage unit and, within reason relative to lighting, the idea is to see lighting in “cubic area” and not just in SQM and maximise your lights penetration into the canopy.

My final point is that these guys have been heavily influenced by the Dutch and that is a very good thing however IMO there certainly is scope for improvement in a few areas but by far better than your average Joe and their very capable of meeting their future requirements.

    Cheers
