The resource stacks up reasonably well if only on grade. If it got going tomorrow it would have the second-highest resource grade globally for an operating open-cut, after Glencore's Kamoto in the Congo (http://www.mining.com/the-worlds-top-10-highest-grade-copper-mines/).

In terms of size, yes I think it actually needs to get to 5 million tonnes as per their Exploration Target (that was actually the lower boundary I quoted above: the Target was 5-10 million tonnes at 2.5% to 4%).  The nearest equivalent I can think of is Peel's Mallee Bull underground project which is 3.9 million tonnes at 2.3% Cu (+ minor gold and silver), and that hasn't been able to attract financing to develop either, as yet.
