Thats right, they can say that TAH know nothing about it and that they have not been approached but that's not how it always works. A rival company could start buying publicly listed shares at any time and of course accumlate them like any other investor. Then if they choose make offer to buy the rest of the company its in thier interest to have a reasonable stake first. Nothing here saying that PBL or some other mob aint accumulating that stake which could explain the recent price rise.
Then again we could be barking up the wrong tree....
