If the market spread is this for example:
Buy Sell
5.0 4.6
4.6 4.5
Then the 5c buy will get the first available batch of 4.6 as theyve placed the highest buy price.Then the 4.6 will get their turn.
They also run the risk of buying at any price up to 5c on the open, whereas the 4.6c buy doesnt run that same risk.
Its essentially a way to skip the opening or closing line if youre willing to risk buying at a pip higher if the sell side gets thin.
