I dont think it is beyond doubt at all sorry.
What is beyond doubt is that First Cape and indeed RM personally, supported the cap raise at 7.5c, which my understanding was to the maximum of their allowed buy in.
First Cape have been investors and large supporters of Anteo for many years now, and any suggestions that they would deliberately sabotage their own quite significant holding by shorting does seem ludicrous. They have way more to gain by it being 30c than 3c.
Now suggestions that they borrowed money to buy in the 7.5c raise and subsequently loaned their shares as collateral has far more credibility.
It may well be that those who have borrowed the shares as collateral may have indeed shorted the shares for their own gain, but I see this as an unfortunate side consequence to the inability to fully raise the required funds in that cap raise.
I am of the belief that there has been a lot of mismanagement around the purchase of DiaSource throught eh Canadian debacle, which by my understanding fell over because the share price wasnt at a high enough level they needed to make the transaction work, which introduced panic funding from Bergen, which as we know they miraculously converted at historically low prices at the time, which may have been through collaboration with a third party, but I seriously doubt it was First Cape or RM, as they had just committed to 7.5c, so to artificially lower the SP for another companies gain doesnt make sense.
The company has stated they expected the share price to be around the 15c mark once the purchase of DiaSource finalised, so I dont think their is misappropriate actions coming from there.
I would certainly not be in favour of the added cost and interruption to the business for an EGM.
RM has perhaps not brought as much to the table as we all would have liked, the same with MB, but we have had a considerable change of leadership over the past 2 years, so a bit of steadying of the ship needs to occur to allow the current crop to try and sort this mess out.
Wait until the Liquidity event shows its head, and then decide.

    Only my opinion.
P.S. Ive held and accumulated for 21 years on the 26th April if that gives any perspective to the above, and I must say its been pretty good to me despite my initial buy being equivalent to $4 a share (40c back then before a 10 for 1 consolidation), as I have bought at times like these as I believe they represent incredible value, and sold a few at the peaks.
Dont be blinded by the low price, as I believe the company has never been in a better position in the entire time Ive been invested.
