Wanty, while I tend to agree with you about any strike from here on being an icing on the cake, I do think an U deal is really what makes the ultimate 'icing'.

This has come totally out of left field and it appears to be the perfect checkmate to whoever was manipulating the share price at this point. If they have indeed been shorting the pants of GDN, which they have managed to do twice now, will have to buy back seriously in order to cover their position. Big money is being played with here and these guys obviously thought they had a schedule to work with, which is what is needed to short a stock like this. THis announcement from left field will have more than one of them caught with their 'shorts down' as it were as they though they had more time on their hands before having to buy back.

Too soon to count the chickens but it won't be long now.
