How confident can the rig crews be of successful hydrocarbon hits? ie...sounds, kicks, drilling sepcifics, trip gas levels, ets. very confident, all trained for these actions, this is why he believes this has gas due to forer announcements 14. Can say 3000psi formation gas still bleed into a bore with 5000psi drilling nud pressures? no- therte is a 2000 overbalance, however if u have high mud losses or u drill into something that has 5100 psi formation pressure, then 5000psi mud press would not be sufficient 15. When you hit a zone then move past it, do the background readings still include some of the previous zones hit...or are the readings from the drill bit location only? still be minor indication but they all level out Thanks in advance.
