Have you heard any any news of the depth reached on the first two holes - are they finished yet or is progress very slow as they orientate and measure each layer of the strata.

I reject the view that the holes are dud just because we have not heard yet. If there are swarms, only assays can tell us. Visuals would just say 'swarms'. And the mountain will not be homogeneous - there will be rich patches which may be elusive.
Also exploration is about determining the structure and the pathway of the fluids so all holes add to that knowledge.
