The lefties of the early trade union movement have made out we're doomed ever since the Industrial Revolution.
But the same lefties tell us "the jobs our grand kids will do haven't even be thought of yet".
Lefties see themselves as progressive futurists but each time there's a technological change they retreat into their regressive socialist ways.
All they want is a world of poverty for the masses and wealth for a few.
While capitalists see people as units of work, so unemployment is very bad, socialists see unemployment as a catalyst for unrest so they want as much of it as possible. Hence the massive intake if totally unemployable refugees.
