I have continually called ANZ last Thurs and Friday and today.
It takes about 1/4 hr to get thru.
I needed the funds from shares sold last week, in order to take up a Rights Issue this week.
I simply will not be able to get the funds into my account in time.
ANZ will not process the Settlement funds manually.
And I bet they did not work over the Easter break to try and fix problem.
There will be financial losses incurred here for certain.
Why is ANZ sharetrading still taking buy/sell trades on ASX?
Just try and actually TALK to someone about the problem!
try calling ANZ Sharetrading
try calling ASX and ask what is going on with their second biggest online broker. Try and get someone at ASX to understand that investors might sell shares and not get paid on T+2, or at all? It is the ASX which is supposed to control these brokers. That's their job.
Try and talk to ANZ Head Office.
I tried calling Peter Mullin - M/D of ANZ Sharetrading according to website.
Left a message ---- when I turn 100yrs old, I bet I still am awaiting a call back.
They are happy to take our money, but when s*** hits the fan, they make sure you cannot get thru to complain or get answers.
