Maybe MT can talk to him and say TA please don't undermine me and then take a selfie of the two of them having coffee together. Just the way he claims he is getting more gas for the East coast when he had that little one hour chat with those nice multinationals and then obviously a selfie. Oh ye TA will feel like he is been flogged with a warm lettuce. Seriously TA needs to be cut lose and chucked out of the LNP as government is assured for ALP - this reminds me of the Gillard/Rudd fiasco and Rudd then undermining Gillard until he got his old job back and then guess what Rudd was surprised when he lost the election. Same will happen here if TA takes over - voters are sick and tired of backstabbing and me me me.
While we are here, I realised today that MT/LP is considering as an option one of those Whitlam ideas from Rex Connors about an East West gas pipeline connecting Dampier to the proposed NT gas pipeline going to east coast. The Whitlam government - ahead of their time. If he pulls that off will the right here call it a lefty policy or Nation building policy for addressing gas shortages. The more simple solution actually would be to simply mandate a reservation policy from the gas fields going to LNG for domestic market as they do in WA - the cheaper option btw for addressing market failure issues with gas supply into a small domestic market when compared to LNG exports as they did in WA.
