Pure supposition and speculation, but looking at the weekly - if the accumulator has a target of acquiring X at a VWAP of Y - perhaps the only way to achieve that this short week was to buy a portion of the stack at the opening auction, and then let the price drift... or it's someone else that created the gap up?

Again, I'm not saying it's bearish - more that it's out of character with the recent action so needs investigation/watching, that's all.

And hopefully it's just unnecessary questioning on my behalf.
