It’s the usual story. According to “best practices” it’s getting too late to go long for the long term investors as it’s too volatile. Sure the market might go parabolic from here (I think it will thanks to China, India, Africa and Russia) but if you are not already long on stocks then it’s probably better to wait for the next gravy train. Short term traders of course trade both ways and the current action getting better and better, and in my opinion too easy. This will be the honey that will attract ordinary investors, such as the mums and dads, who will start looking at CFD’s, futures, options and compound options (options on options). Then the real party begins. Just watch out when the music stops.
