The reason for the trading half on Friday, during the day, is that was the time the abstracts were released. Yes the Saturday abstracts were embargoed until 7am Saturday in theory. However at the point of loading the abstracts, to the web servers, for the weekend the data became known to a wider audience and I suspect companies were told way the same time.
He really does not understand clinical trials 101. The vast majority of trials in oncology 'fail'. The SARAH data, albeit disappointing compared to the expectations of HC posters (including yours truly), is still very good on a number of levels.
