The QAN board and CEO can't be hung out to dry because of a stuff up by a shareholder who was late in lodging their acceptance.
If the acceptance had been on time the takeover would have another two weeks to run and it is quite conceivable that 70% acceptance would be secured.
To howl for the blood of directors and management that built Qantas up to be one of the most successful airlines in the world is crass stupidity.
