For those that are not aware of the meaning behind this deal please see as follows. Megaport had three major global supplier partners before the announcement they were Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. After this announcement they also have Oracle Cloud.
Our major competitors like Equinix cloud exchange which is restricted to Equinix Data Centres only have been selling Oracle for a while. This was a missing link for Megaport IMO.
I'm not sure of the immediate revenue uplift because I'm not sure of cloud market share Amazon vs Oracle cloud for example, although this will have a direct and meaningful impact on their bottom line. Megaport have built and continue to build the network which is the expensive component, now when they introduce a new partner like Oracle they can just plug them straight into their vast global network.
This is very meaningful for Oracle as it provides them with a global cloud marketplace (Megaport).
