Paladin's Mr Borshoff said uranium hopefuls were "raring to go" but warned it wouldn't be easy.
"The number of years it can take to get a project going can really be quite staggering," he said. "What we need is huge, low-grade deposits. All we are really doing at the moment is picking that low-hanging fruit."
