Jesus H Christ! I can't believe some of the cr ap being posted in this thread.

I don't know whether it is true or not but if Peter hjas done anything as desperate as that some of you guys should hang your heads in shame. Try and even begin to imagine what would bring anyone regardless of what they may have done in their past to suicide.

Peter phoned me a couple of days after his commital hearing - out of the blue - I was amazed. For one thing I had no idea he still had my phone number.

My experience of Peter is that he is a decent guy who let his enthusiasm get the better of him and genuinely got sucked in by some serious shysters who sold him company scrip and some seriously dodgy yarns in return for some electronic gizmo's he invented.

In posting those he did no more than half the punters who post on Hotcopper every day. The difference was that to a big extent HC became far too far an important part of his life (and I see a handful of other posters who are still here like I am far after our online useby dates should have expired!)

I hope this is not true and that news of his death is (as the quote goes) greatly overstated.

If its not then its a blo ody shame and my regards and condolences to his family (yes he has one.) Nobody deserves the working over he has got from the ASIC and it is seriously time that that pathetic institution got off its collective ar se and caught some of the big time sharks that plunder the ASX from open until close every trading day.
