    G'day
Can't help with original question, sorry.
Both fundamental and technical analysis take significant effort (many years) to come to grips with.
There are good arguments in favour and against both methods (particularly in the spec market where I live).
To say fundamental analysis doesn't work, or technical analysis doesn't work are equally ill informed.
Each of us has to find our own way, but that doesn't make every other way "wrong". I don't understand geological information, but that doesn't make it wrong LOL
A combination of macro, sector, fundamental and techical analysis is imo best. Hope, fear and gread are the enemy with all methods.
The great thing about charting (if you can master it) is that it can be used across many markets, unlike say a geologist who would struggle analysing a biotech.
    No method is fool proof.
    just my random thoughts
    cheers
    Rod
