Can you point me to where I said it was a sure thing. Your rationale that something will pass it in the future is ludicrous. No-one would have bought an ICE car in the first place on that basis. Or a tape player, cd's, an iphone 7 because there will be an 8 next year....

As for more volume doesn't automatically raise price. Correct. But S&D dictates that if D is bigger than S price goes up. But even so that isn't necessarily the point. A bigger market helps.
