    Fitzy, I have been trading for a little over 5 years. The first 3 years were pretty choppy for me, some big wins, but mostly eroded by too many losses.

    During this time my capital fluctuated wildly.

    The year before last, I steadied the boat, and the last year (trading short timeframes - stuff the indicators..lol) has been an absolute boomer (yes I accept we are in a bull market).

    In the last month my return on capital has been better than what a competent fund manager would achieve in one year.

    I could take the next 11 months off, but what the hell I am going to make a pig of myself.

    As for the long term.

    I'll take it as it comes - eyes wide open.
