    Hi yellowcake

I just rang CO2 group and spoke to one of the directors.

I asked why they don't use sandle wood trees. His answer has that they have around 15 years experiance with the growth of the malley trees which gives them the convidence to predict potentional out-comes for their clients.

He also said that later down the track they will be looking at different species that may include certain types of sandlewoods depending on the area.

He said that although you can get essences and oil from the sandlewood berries,at some stage you need to cut the plant down to process the rest of it and you lose the carbon credit. Then you replant a new crop ?

With malley trees the carbon credit is good for 70 years, hence the appeal.

He said a few other things but thats it in a nut shell.
