Back in 2012 equity investors inc Anchorage bailed out Contech Construction Products Inc. and in the process renamed it Contech Engineered Solutions LLC. They wiped out $600 million in debt recapitalised the NEW owners in the new entity, and previous private shareholders in a company with massive debt probably got next to nothing.
your article 4 years and 8 months later is when Anchorage then sold Contech for a tidy profit to QUIKRETE Holdings, Inc. Terms of teh deal were not disclosed however Moodys reported they acquired Contech for $950 million after fees and expenses

Thats a nice $300 million profit, of which the original holders Contech Construction Products Inc. shareholders saw nothing, unless they took the money they got for cents in the dollar and re-invested it in the new entity.
And now Anchorage is rinse repeat doing same here. Its so bloody obvious, it would take a blithering idiot to not see it. Like Jim has stated many times, if you want a piece of the pie AFTER SGH gets recapitalised and restructured definitely worth a look, but holding now, imo your shares here will be decimated in the dilution.
