It just never fails to amaze me how people can't hold a stock for more than one day without feeling compelled to offload it at any cost, - creating a loss for themselves and everyone else holding. It is precisely this reason that so many IPO's exclude retail investors. Why would you subject your company's share price to the instant damage almost invariably associated with their inclusion? The problem is that the other 95% of retail investors are more likely to remain loyal to a company they're invested in through thick and thin than an institutional broker. It's these kinds of shareholders the company misses out on when they try to minimise exposure to the whims of the 5%.
Aaaargh!
