While all of you are panicking about the fall in the share price, remember that there are still people buying these shares. There has been a bit of a shift in sentiment in the broader sharemarket over the last few weeks. April and May are also typically the poorest performing months on the ASX. So the question really is has anything changed for EDE over the past few weeks? No, not really. People might be expecting sales to come thick and fast because they have hired a gun sales team. But lead times can be quite long in this industry. There could well be a number of sales in the pipeline for projects that aren't yet set in stone - which can't be announced to the market. For mine, the story hasn't changed. The share price has done this before and recovered - it peaked at 34c on 16/05/16 and dropped to 16c by 28/6/16. And what had changed as far as the company's fundamentals were concerned? Nothing.
The bots may well be in control, but they have their agenda and as investors, we have our own. Don't let the ebbs and flows of the market cloud your judgement. Remember why you bought the stock in the first place. If you believed in the story then and nothing has changed, why wouldn't you believe in the story now. Personally, I see this as an opportunity to average down/top-up, but each to their own.
