If it was Coeur they would have to disclose the buying to the ASX.

Could well be someone else building a stake to VOTE NO or make a counter bid.

With months to go before this "merger" can be finalised I think those selling out now out of disenchantment will find they will have cost themselves money (unless the gold price collapses.)
