OzJ, agreed totally.
Yes, Cyclone Debbie will arguably push up premiums and give a degree of pricing power in NSW and QLD but it may be seen as a single loss event and not two losses so the reinsurance amount and associated loss (single or double) issues are a very big problem.
But IAG is very overbought at $6.28, the run only had one little wobble and that does not augur well. A correction may be around the corner IMHO.
