The reality is newspapers are struggling and its got nothing to do with politics.
Even if its true that Newscorp is right leaning and Fairfax is left leaning
they are both struggling so its due to other reasons. I accept that digital
is the reason and Newspapers have clung on when in fact they should have
foreseen the decline to come ages ago. There will always be room for
newsprint as a niche small business run by local smaller operators
such as community news etc. The biggies days are over.
