The Greens have a lot in common with a religious sect. Anti Science, trust us, promising a utopia, do not question us lest you be witch hunted (bullied).

So how come Turnbull wants to carry out the Greens policy of attacking Catholic schools?

The Greens are in competition with the Catholics and other religions for the religious minds of the youth. So by cutting Catholic money compared to Independent schools (4% vs 3% ) the Greens are putting it over a rival. Turnbull by supporting the Greens is revealing his own Green colours.

I hope that the 800,000 catholic students all turn up at the nearest state school.

Paul Murray showed Shorten try and deliver a zinger in his criticism of Turnbull. He tried to say Turnbull was a Disallowed salesman but it was a flop, more of a zanker than a zinger.

Yes on education Bill will spend an endless amount of borrowed cash to scoop up as many extra votes that money can buy. Even though the evidence shows that the recent increase in cash to schools has produced reversing results, the ALP will just say more cash is needed. Simple. New ALP motto "You can never borrow too much cash".
