Dlux, the problem with Argentina is that it has done precious little since the Perronist days to truly reform the economy and to pay any of its way. Whenever Argentina does not like something, it defaults. The USA regardless of anything else (like most Western nations) continues to pay its way. Not like many of the Latin nations which have continued to fail economically and monetarily now for many years.
The other big factor rife within the Argentinian situation continues to be cronyism and the extent to which those in Government and in certain privileged sectors continue to be able to exploit the economic situation. It would not, therefore, surprise me to see further street riots and /or a coup attempt within the next 2 -3 weeks.
