Thats not at all what they said - what they said was

"pending an announcement by the Company regarding the execution of a material commercial agreement with a prominent financial services company."

Now that sounds normal ie deal totally done, signature on the paper, the two companies agree an announcement date, you go into trading halt, tell your wider staff to avoid leaks and then you announce.

Now they are saying it was not about execution of an agreement we were still negotiating terms and we could not agree. Very fishy, this on top of the NAB announcement

There is a cowboy smell about this one, but I'm going to hold on for a bit
