I can afford an accountant to look after my Company Trusts and Funds so l can enjoy life living on the beach on a tropical island...
l havent used a 'normal' trading accounts since pre GFC ...l stated tax laws have changed, and have again recently I believe, so l was just politely answering an enquirey from a poster. ....as for a 'tax loss' ...after selling VR at 14c and buying in again recently...let me assure you, VRC could 'drop off the chart' and my accountant will still have to 'account' for some kind of gain ...oh well ...paying tax means yer making money he says.....
My advice...set up a Co if you have serious money in the market....they arent cheap to maintain but they are a low tax environment and has worked very well for me...life's a beach....
