my adviser in these matters(apart from the generous hotcopper responses) still uses acrobat 4 because as is confirmed here -'it works better'.
it just so happened a couple of days ago a pop up ad appeared about a 'booster' so I ran the test & in a flash it confirmed what was wrong with my system,slow boot up etc etc my system was working at about 10% & the booster could improve efficiency to 80%.Cost $40 I think. I considered that if there is that much wrong with my machine I had better 'start again'. I am working on it - very slowly!
