I think we have a bit of the "frog in boiling water" parable happening..
I know the its not true but its an old parable that works quite well in this instance i think.
The premise is that if a frog is put suddenly into boiling water, it will jump out, but if the frog is put in tepid water which is then brought to a boil slowly, it will not perceive the danger and will be cooked to death.
We are the frog in tepid water. I fear by the time certain sections of the public recognize the danger it will be too late..
If it ever happens will those members of the public hold their hands up and take responsibility for fighting those of us pointing out the dangers before it was too late? They should be fighting with us.
