It depends on if you think the app will have traction on a global stage, your options are to
a) sell all shares at what you think the high is then either stay out or buy back when the price retraces, possibly higher than your current average
b) sell a % of your shares and keep the rest for MT/Long hold, always can accumulate more on the lows slightly raising your average
c) hold all your shares and wait till after the dust settles to either sell on further news or good download results, or wait until the international launch
d) hold long and hope the company turns out to be worth $b leading it to either be sold off or sit at $1-2 share price
It depends if you need the capital for other investments or have faith in the company to be a success, personally already made back about half my invested capital from a sell at 3.7c and am looking to cover and free float on launch, with remaining shares.
Looking for a 50c-$1.20 share price, which I have the patience to wait for while determining the viability of the company going forward. Will make an exit if the app, management, or market sentiment is not going in the direction that I want at a low of 3c, this still equates to $75k profit so not a big deal but just a lot less than my desired outcome of $1.25-$3m at the previous mentioned prices.
The number of failed companies littering the asx graveyard is immense, so am sitting on this one speculating for the best but realistic about covering risk of competitive tech market and the possibility of management ineptitude, while I have little reason to call them that at present, but it is always a possible outcome.
