P, thats sort of right but it depends a fair bit on your timeframe and probably amount of leverage. Short term sheet happens but longer term trends are pretty durable - tho they do have an end sometime and corrections along the way. Its that same reasoning that has led me to trade somewhat longer term. I wasted a lot of money and mental frizzle for a while getting stopped out on very short term trades just too often, and tried a whole lot of ways to avoid it, like different stops, but eventually realised that 90% of my problem was the time frame. Should have listened to my mother.. sigh! She was right again.. too impatient she says.. :-)
