I think you are a bit confused about that announcment Gasbag.
BPF engaged Accenture as sales consultants. It will provide a pathway to sales introductions or opportunities. Accenture gets paid for the contract, including any lead that converts to a sale plus ongoing commission. The reason BPF did this was to further sales growth as internal sales performance has been poor, hence downgrade to revs and ebit. Theres no pt engaging consultants if your internal teams are outperforming.
This is how it works. The company I work for has the similar relationship with Accenture. We are a fintech company but have partnered for slightly diff reasons.
