I commend the government on the levy they have put on the big 4 banks (plus Macquarie). It is ludicrous that so much of our money flows in this country are tied up in 4 massive corporations and even more ludicrous that they make up 30% of our main index. They suck the life out of money flows in this country and should never have been allowed to get so big. Undoing that is a hard and painful job for all but it needs to be done. A good first step.
