Again it is still I F the mess they created could take 5 years or more to sort out during which time a whole lot more resentment towards the US is going to be building. The longer the US stay in Iraq the greater support to the arguement that the whole thing is about the US controling the middle east especially when added to the fact no WMDs at all have been found.
Which gets back to the original point of my first post in this thread the war in Iraq has done nothing to reduce terrorism and if the US was serious about reducing terrorism then the resoursces used in Iraq should have been used to haunt down Bin Laden, sort out the mess in Afganistan and enforce a peace plan between Israel and the Palestinians.
All of this would have had a positive effect on the fight against terrorism as opposed to some hopeful pipe dream outcome of an action based on very dubious (as opposed to lies for your benefit) grounds.
