Good luck trying to find a half decent 2/3 bed house with land for $800K and only 15km from CBD.
And even if they can and they have saved $50K towards it what about in 3 years time when they want to start a family and they go back to a single income of $60K or Net approx $48K. Interest rates will likely be at least 5% by then meaning the Interest repayment alone amounts to $39K.
This also doesn't allow them to repay any of the loan and leaves them $9K a year for Insurances, Council rates, Water rates, Home expenses, Car expenses, child expenses and general living costs.
Its not possible.........which is why house prices can no longer keep going up.
