it's a departure from the original focus where we were led to believe that IAM was concentrating on capturing large clients first but have realised that's not gonna happen any time soon - so now they are are working on attempting to capture many small clients with the portal?
you can quibble about whether you want to call it a departure or complimentary to original aims but it's a change in emphasis whichever way you look at it.
I'd say it was because of such things that MR departed?
