Pat, nice find, thank you....

These are my observations;
- The video is a demo of the Throatec Heartmate II, NOT of the Tandemheart pVAD?? Which is consistent since the Heartmate is a 2nd generation not a 3rd generation, and the video does not show a suspended impaler!!
- The similarity (even right down to the description) of the Tandemheart pVAD device, to that of VCR's Ventrassist?
- There doesn't seem to be any news on the number of implants on the Tandemheart pVAD.
- The Ventrassist only weighs 2 ounces more than Tandemheart and pumps (from memory) 6 litres of blood/minute.
- When you go to the Texasheart Web site, there is no mention of the Ventrassist device. There is a list of a whole lot of devices (including Throatec), but not VCR's or Berlin Heart?!!!...odd that!!!...May be because it's not an American and/or they are a non-affiliated with Texasheart.
