Out of interest, I'd say the DJI Mavick is in a completely different demographic than either the Rova or the Airselfie.
In a "marketing perspective", there are a number of parameters that need to be assessed, and certainly NOT popularity when it comes to product launches.
If you are a technologist/user in industrial software, this may not be apparent, but other prime drivers are important when comparing "marketing perspective" (quote from your post)

One of the important measures of demographics is the price point.
IMHO, your analysis is completely uninformed from a "marketing perspective".
