The main objective of the Bangalore conference is to create awareness on the technical, operational, social, ethical, financial and other related aspects of telemedicine. The conference will provide a forum to discuss and arrive at appropriate recommendations for implementing telemedicine, particularly in developing countries, where the need is most felt.

In all, 35 invited lectures will be delivered by national and international experts in the field of telemedicine and allied fields.

About 600 delegates have registered as delegates, including about 50 delegates from abroad.

The international speakers include ****Mr Ross Horley of Medic Vision, Australia,**** Clinical Surgery Professor Rifat Latifi from USA, David Salter of Washington Thorasic and cardiological Surgery Centre, A Talukder of JPL, Mr Frank Lievens of the International Society of Telemedicine and Dr Abu Baker Suleiman from Malaysia.
