    Hi Tewks,
    I hope you didn't miss the salient point.
    Without BHP spending money the technology is worth zero.
    There has to be some discount for the BHP input ....be it seconded technical men...or money.
    That's where the bargaining comes in. I think BHP could extract about 60 % discount on a royalty.

    A little more research please !
